It is such a shame that during such a busy time of year when your GP Practice is trying to meet the demands of spring pressures patients are forgetting to attend appointments

During the month of

April 2025- 245 appointments

were booked by patients who then did not attend.

This equates to 16 GP and other clinicians clinics a month.

If you have booked an appointment but you are unable to attend or no longer need it, please call or send a text saying ‘cancel’ at least 24 hours beforehand so the reception staff can offer the appointment to a patient who may need to be seen urgently

Appointments are precious so please don’t waste them
